Hehem, I’m terribly sorry to say that I will not be on deviantART any longer. I don’t mean to be an attention whore, but I just wanted to inform my lovely deviantwatchers of this.

There are actually a few reasons in which I am quitting;

The first of which is, plain and simple, I don’t have the time. My mother is going into surgery Tuesday and I need to take care of her. She’s a nervous wreck at the moment, and I’m walking on eggshells by writing this.

Secondly, I don’t really like the aspect of deviantART any longer. For one reason, please observe these three threads in order:

It seems to me that the mods are on a bit of a power trip. I can understand why this deviant was banned, but I don’t see why the thread was locked. Perhaps because it made a good point and had spoken out against the mods of deviantART? They made a good point. Unless a thread is supporting some form of serious harassment, keep your pants on for a second and try to hear them out.

dA is a huge community. It is filled with diversity between races, opinions, sexualities, and religious beliefs. I was happy with this. It was an opportunity to make new friends, to learn about other cultures. However, as soon as I made a reference to noticing any of these differences, I was slammed in the face with a nice couple of flames. For every one interesting and/or unique person on dA, there are three grammar-worshipping, narrow-minded jerks. I don’t want to, nor do I have to deal with that attitude.

Also, the moderators seem to enforce their rules by way of intimidation. I’ll follow the rules happily. I’ll respect the etiquette; I will not harass anyone and I will sustain common courtesy in all of my post and/or entries. BUT, I have no intention what-so-ever of flattering anyone who doesn’t deserve it. It seems that I’m expected to do so.

Despite this, I did enjoy my stay at dA. I’d like to thank both the majority of deviants and administrators for giving me the opportunity to share my voice and my art, for it truly had been an interesting experience. Thanks a lot to all of my watchers and friends, it was a lovely time and I would certainly love to keep in touch (add me on MSN at dafluffylemon@hotmail.com). I hope I get the opportunity to do so.

And, of course, I apologize for the generalization above. There are many kind mods and administrators of dA.

Now, remember. Just because I’m leaving dA doesn’t mean I’m leaving the internet. I’m joining Sheezy Art and Fiction Press, as well as making a new fanfiction account. (All of which will be under the name Rosey-Cover)

And, for the people I watch, I’m sorry that I won’t be able to see much of your artwork any more. I might still check in once in a while, but don’t hold your breath.
